Energy-self-sufficient living in Bellinzona: Solozip® in the "D-Vision" project, D-Vision residential building

The "D-Vision" residential project combines energy-self-sufficient design with Griesser Solozip® façade awnings for maximum comfort and efficiency.

On a hill above Bellinzona, "D-Vision" was created as a modern residential project that combines design and sustainability. The four exclusive residential units rest on reinforced concrete pillars and offer a 180° panoramic view over the Ticino valley with 283 m² of glass surfaces.

Thanks to 300 solar modules integrated into the roof (490 m², 75,000 kWh/year), the building is completely energy self-sufficient and emission-free.

Solozip for more efficiency and quality of life

The cubic construction and generous glazing provide plenty of daylight and an incomparable view. In order to prevent overheating in summer and at the same time make optimal use of daylight, a perfect sun protection solution is crucial. The discreet Solozip® façade awnings from Griesser integrate seamlessly into the architecture: the zipper welded to the fabric, the supporting and guiding elements embedded in the façade and the high wind stability up to 92 km/h make them the ideal solution – especially on exposed slopes. In addition, the automated sun shading system further boosts the energy balance of "D Vision".

The D-Vision residents are also convinced of the high-quality sun protection solutions: "In the warm season, the awnings reliably prevent the rooms from heating up. Since they do not darken too much, a pleasant, summery atmosphere is preserved."

The "D-Vision" project impressively shows how modern living and ecological responsibility merge.
