KlimaHaus
Energy efficiency involves a number of players: builders, planners, parties responsible for construction, building material suppliers, researchers, trainers, developers, politicians, managers and service providers. It is only through the involvement of all the above parties that we can achieve the necessary energy savings and avoid carbon dioxide emissions in the construction sector.
ClimateHouse Agency provides extensive specialist knowledge in all sectors of relevance to construction. South Tyrol has taken on a pioneering role in Italy – not just because energy building certification is already binding here, but also because the vast number of ClimateHouses in this region provides a concrete example of energy-saving and sustainable building.
ClimateHouse Agency aims to combine acting ecologically with thinking economically. A building with quality of life doesn’t have to be expensive. The opposite is in fact true as it provides a whole host of ways to save money and also protects the environment.
Griesser is a ClimateHouse certified partner.
ClimateHouse’s partners distinguish themselves through the high quality in their specialist sectors and use for sustainable economic development. They are characterized by responsible actions, shaping the world of tomorrow today with a real zest for life.
ClimateHouse’s partners help to make the ClimateHouse vision – “living healthily and ecologically in a natural living space” – a reality in production, processing and services.
Commitment
myclimate
We’ve been a partner of myclimate since February 2008.
So far 1’297’522 CHF in the collective pot or 32’438 t Co2 have been compensated.
Status 19.01.2021
Since February 2008 we’ve been working with myclimate, an international non-profit organization based in Switzerland. Established as a spin-off from the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology Zurich, myclimate is one of the world’s leading providers of scientifically sound voluntary measures to reduce and offset carbon emissions.
To show that other industries can do their bit to tackle climate change, we organized a somewhat unusual fundraising campaign. Every time we disposed of blinds or rolling shutters, we make a donation to myclimate. The organization used the money raised to fund climate protection projects such as solar cookers.
Good news not only for myclimate, but for us too. As a traditional Swiss company, we’re setting new standards for suppliers to the construction industry in the way we use resources and energy.
