Bing Universal Event Tracking (UET)
On our website, data are acquired and stored with Bing Ads technologies to create pseudonym-based usage profiles. This is a service provided by Microsoft Corporation, One Microsoft Way, Redmond, WA 98052-6399, USA. This service enables us to track the activities of users on our website if they came to it via Bing Ads advertisements.
If you come to our website via such an advertisement, a cookie will be placed on your IT device. A Bing UET tag is integrated into our website. This is a code via which, in connection with the cookie, some non-personal data about your use of the website will be stored. This includes the length of your website visit, the areas of the website you visit and the advertisement via which you came to the website. Information about your identity is not collected.
The information acquired will be transmitted to Microsoft’s servers in the USA and stored there for essentially a maximum of 180 days. You can prevent the acquisition of the data generated by the cookie that relate to your use of the website and the processing of these data by disabling cookies. Doing so may, however, restrict our website’s functionality.
Microsoft may also use ‘cross-device tuning’ to track your user behavior across multiple electronic devices and, as a result of this, may be able to show you personalized advertisements on Microsoft websites and in Microsoft apps. You can disable this activity at http://choice.microsoft.com/de-de/opt-out.
More detailed information about Bing’s analysis services is provided on the Bing Ads website (https://help.bingads.microsoft.com/#apex/3/de[DP(8] /53056/2). More detailed information about data privacy at Microsoft and Bing is provided in the Microsoft data privacy statement (https://privacy.microsoft.com/privacystatement).
LinkedIn Remarketing & Retargeting
The pages on our website integrate remarketing tags of the social network of the LinkedIn Corporation of 2029 Stierlin Court, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA. When you visit such pages, a direct link is established via these remarketing tags between your browser and the LinkedIn server. This provides LinkedIn with the information that you have visited our website using your IP address. This in turn enables LinkedIn to assign this visit of our website to your user account. The information this provides can then be used by us to show you LinkedIn ads.
We would like to inform you that, in our capacity as the provider of our webpages, we receive no information on the content of the data so transmitted or their use by LinkedIn. Further information on the above will be found in the LinkedIn privacy policy at https://www.linkedin.com/legal/privacy-policy.

The Google Analytics web analysis service
This website uses Google Analytics, a web analysis service provided by US-based Google LLC. Google Analytics uses cookies – text files that are stored on your IT device and permit analyses to be conducted of your use of our website. The information recorded by the cookie on your use of this website (including your IP address in shortened form) will generally be transmitted to a Google server in the USA and stored thereon.
This website uses Google Analytics solely with its ‘anonymizelP’ add-on, which anonymizes your IP address by shortening it and thereby ensuring that it cannot be traced personally to you. This add-on ensures that Google shortens the IP addresses of all parties within the European Union and the European Economic Area before such data are transmitted. Only in exceptional cases will a full IP address be transmitted to a Google server in the USA and shortened there.
This data processing is performed in accordance with GDPR Article 6 Paragraph 1 Item (f), based on our legitimate interest in the statistical analysis of website user behavior for optimization and marketing purposes.
Google will use this information on our behalf to evaluate your use of our website, to compile reports on our website activities and to provide us with further services connected with the use of our website and the internet in general. The IP address which is transmitted from your browser under these Google Analytics activities will not be combined by Google with any other data.
You can prevent the placement of cookies on your IT device by adjusting your browser software settings accordingly. If you do so, however, you may not be able to use all the functions of our website to their full extent.
You can also prevent the recording of the data generated by the cookie on your use of our website (including your IP address) by Google and Google’s future processing of such data by downloading and installing the opt-out browser add-on available at the link below:
http://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout?hI=en
This will place an opt-out cookie on your device that will prevent any future recording of your data when you visit this website.
We have concluded a data processing agreement with Google to ensure that their handling of your data is in full and constant compliance with data protection law.
US-based Google LLC is certificated under the Privacy Shield US-EU data protection framework, which ensures the observance of all data protection requirements at the levels the EU demands.
Further information on Google Analytics’ use and handling of user data will be found in Google’s privacy policy.
The data recorded will be automatically erased after 26 months. Should you not agree to the recording of your data, you may prevent this through the one-time installation of the browser add-on which will deactivate Google Analytics: http://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout?hI=en

-Right to erasure in accordance with GDPR Article 17:
You have the right to have your personal data erased if and when any of the grounds specified in GDPR Article 17 Paragraph 1 apply. This right to erasure shall specifically not apply, however, to the extent that the processing of the data concerned is necessary for the exercising of the right of freedom of expression and information, for compliance with a legal obligation, for reasons of public interest or for the establishment, exercise or defense of legal claims.
- Right to restriction of processing in accordance with GDPR Article 18:
You have the right to demand that the processing of your personal data be restricted for as long as any data whose accuracy is contested by you takes to verify, if you decline the erasure of data whose processing is unlawful but demand their restricted processing instead, if (once we no longer need the data concerned for the purpose for which they were collected) you still require the data to establish, exercise or defend a legal claim, or if you have objected to the processing of the data concerned for reasons relating to your personal situation pending verification whether our legitimate grounds override yours.
- Right to demand notification in accordance with GDPR Article 19:
If you have exercised your right to data rectification, data erasure or the restriction of data processing towards the controller, they are obliged to communicate such rectification, erasure or restriction to each recipient to whom your personal data have been disclosed, unless such action proves impossible or involves disproportionate effort. You further have the right to be informed about the recipients concerned.
- Right to data portability in accordance with GDPR Article 20:
You have the right to receive the personal data which you have provided us with in a structured, commonly-used and machine-readable format or to have these data transmitted to another controller, provided this is technically feasible.
- Right to withdraw consent previously given in accordance with GDPR Article 7 Paragraph 3:
You have the right to withdraw for the future a consent to the processing of your data which you have previously given at any time. Should you do so, we will erase the data concerned without delay, unless their further processing is warranted through a legal foundation which permits their processing to continue without such consent. The withdrawal of such consent shall not affect the lawfulness of processing based on the consent before its withdrawal.
- Right of complaint in accordance with GDPR Article 77:
If you are of the opinion that a processing of your personal data violates the provisions of the GDPR, you are entitled – without prejudice to any other administrative or judicial remedy – to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority, particularly in the member state of your residence, your place of work or the place of the alleged violation.
- Right of objection in accordance with GDPR Article 21:
If we process your personal data on the basis of overriding legitimate interests following a consideration of the various interests involved, you are entitled to object at any time to all future such processing for reasons relating to your particular situation. If you exercise this right of objection, we will cease our processing of the data concerned. We reserve the right to resume such processing, however, if we can demonstrate compelling legitimate reasons for the same which override your interests, basic freedoms and basic rights, or if such processing serves the establishment, exercising or defense of legal claims.
If your personal data are processed by us for direct marketing purposes, you are entitled to object at any time to such processing for such promotional purposes. If you exercise this right of objection, we will cease our processing of the data concerned for direct marketing purposes.
