Modern & traditional, Abbey de La Rochette

Located in the greater Lyon area, just a few metres from the banks of the Saône, this 16th century former abbey has been renovated and restored into a luxury apartment building by the developer SMCI. The building comprises a total of 51 apartments and two fine landscaped courtyards featuring a water feature and a fountain.

By marrying modernity and tradition, Griesser is helping to conserve the beauty and authenticity of this site through the use of Wing Shutters (Model A) with fixed slats in the American style.

The choice of these panels and the sandy colour have helped to restore the character of the former building. Griesser has fitted this building with high-quality, maintenance-free and long-lasting products for residents’ comfort and peace of mind.

This renovation project was carried out to preserve the soul of this peaceful place with a rich history.
